The Missing Pieces of a Private Candidate's Application

Universities expect a school reference and predicted grades through UCAS. Home educated, private and retake students often have neither, which is the single biggest barrier between a capable independent learner and a competitive offer.

Because LMSC is a college, we can act as your referee centre. We assess you, predict your grades on real evidence, and submit a credible reference, the same machinery a school provides, made available to you as a private candidate.

How it works

From Assessment to Offer

First we assess you through mock exams and any coursework, so there is genuine evidence of your level. Then we issue honest predicted grades under the college name, write and submit your UCAS reference, and support your personal statement and choices through to decisions.

We manage the deadlines too, including the earlier dates for Oxbridge and medicine, and we guide international applicants through UK entry requirements.
