Everything You Need to Know

Yes. LMSC welcomes private and external candidates, including home educators, independent learners, retake students, international students and adults. You make your entries through us as your centre and we guide you through every step.

Yes, and it is one of our specialisms. As a maths and science college with our own laboratories and qualified specialists, we deliver the A Level practical endorsement across the twelve required practicals in house, which many general exam centres cannot.

Yes. Because LMSC is a college, we can issue an assessment based predicted grade and a credible UCAS reference, grounded in your mock and coursework performance. This is a service most exam centres do not offer.

Entries for the summer series typically open in the autumn and close in the new year, while the November series closes in early October. Early entry secures your place and avoids awarding body late fees, so we recommend booking as soon as you can.

Fees depend on the subject, the level and any practical or coursework component. We publish a transparent fee list with no hidden charges, and you can request an exact quote at any time.

Yes. GCSE Maths and English Language resits are available in November, and IGCSE and International A Level offer wider November and January options. Results for November GCSE resits are issued in January.

Yes, this is one of our specialisms. We deliver the practical endorsement and required practicals in our own laboratories, which many centres cannot offer external candidates.

No. Predicted grades are honest, evidence based assessments grounded in your mock and coursework performance. They are not a guarantee, but because they come from a college and are properly assessed, they carry weight with universities.

Use our booking page at https://lmsc.org.uk/book-exam, or contact the exams team. We will confirm subjects, boards, deadlines and fees, and guide you through every step.
